Perfect North Passes
The ski club skis on Thursday nights at Perfect North. We meet in the east lodge (the area under the Loft Shop). Most people get there between 6 and 7pm. Some people take lessons in January, others join the Adult Race League (see racing page for more info), while others just come out to ski. While Thursdays is our designated day, some people ski other days/nights of the week and some ski on weekends.
The club gets a discount over Perfect's current advertised prices. The discount is good until Nov 20. After Nov 20, you can still get a 10% discount over Perfect's regular prices. Tom Berning will be selling passes from the Oct 5 meeting through the Nov 16 meeting or you can purchase passes online from Perfect North. To purchase online, go to www.perfectnorth.com, click on club login (in the upper right corner but may move to lower left when they update their site), click on the letter "C", then click on Cincinnati Ski Club. Continuing this year, they are offering what they call an all area ticket. The ticket you get with your pass will be good as both a lift ticket and snow tubing ticket. The snow tubing hill will be open during the week at 1pm. Also included with every ticket is an introductory lesson to skiing or snow boarding
Several of the Passes have changed for this year so make sure you read the description carefully.
4 Week Lesson Program
This is a 4 week lesson package that is intended for beginners. You get 4 lift tickets and 4 one hour lessons on the 4 Thursdays in January. You can choose what day/night you want to take lessons when you purchase your pass if you don't want Thursdays. Any weekday but Friday is available. New this year is a 4 Plus program that gives you 1 additional lift ticket and rental equipment for an extra $28.
Lessons will start the week of Jan 9th. First time skier lessons start hourly between 4 and 6pm and are also offered 1pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. They ask that you stay with the same time and instructor you start with for the first week. There will be an opportunity to make up a missed lesson. The lesson program is $90 for all ages. Rentals can be added to this program for just $46.
Perfect Season Pass
This pass allows you to ski/ride/tube anytime during the season. You wear this pass around your neck so there is no hassle of going to the ticket window. The season pass is $360 for ages 13-59 and $240 for ages 7-12/60+. You can add rentals for $125 and the 4 weeks of lessons for $40. An added bonus this year is you get 5 discounts of $10 off lift tickets for family or friends. These discounts are only good Monday through Thursday but not on holidays.
Gold Pass
This pass is similar to the season pass where you get one 8 hour lift ticket for skiing/riding/tubing every day Perfect is open. You must visit the ticket window each time to get an all area ticket. The Gold Pass is $308 for ages 13-59 and $205 for ages 7-12/60+. You can add rentals for $125 and the 4 weeks of lessons for $40. An added bonus this year is you get 5 discounts of $5 off lift tickets for family or friends. These discounts are only good Monday through Thursday but not on holidays.
Silver Pass
This pass is valid each day Monday through Friday and after 5:30pm on Sundays. This is essentially a weekday season pass with the addition of Sunday evenings. You must visit the ticket window each time to get an all area ticket. The Silver Pass is $238 for ages 13-59 and $158 for ages 7-12/60+. You can add rentals for $125 and the 4 weeks of lessons for $40.
Bronze Pass
This pass is valid each day Monday through Thursday. You must visit the ticket window each time to get an all area ticket. The Bronze Pass is $168 for ages 13-59 and $111 for ages 7-12/60+. You can add rentals for $125 and the 4 weeks of lessons for $40.
Once-A-Week Pass
This pass is valid for one lift ticket each week Monday through Sunday. Each week starts on Monday. You must visit the ticket window each time to get an all area ticket. The Once-A-Week Pass is $217 for ages 13-59 and $144 for ages 7-12/60+. You can add rentals for $125 and the 4 weeks of lessons for $40.
Tubing Cards
They also offer passes for just snow tubing. The Gold Tubing card is their full season pass for tubing. Unlimited hours all season. The cost is $120 for ages 13-59 and $100 for ages 7-12/60+. They have a Gold Lite tubing card that is good Monday through Thursday for $60 for ages 13-59 and $50 for ages 7-12/60+.
Debit Card
When purchasing passes you can get a discount on their debit card. This makes it much easier than carrying cash at the slopes. When you purchase your pass you can add a debit card to the order. When you purchase $35 on the debit card, you will get $40 on the card. If you purchase $50 on the card, you get $60 on the card. If you purchase $80 on the card, you get $100 on the card. Cards can only be used after December 1. Any remaining balances on the cards will be charged $10 maintenance fee on April 1 for inactivity in the previous 12 months. These debit cards can be used for lift tickets, food, merchandise, ski repairs and tubing.
Lessons
You can add 4 lessons to any pass for just $40. These lessons are held for 4 weeks starting the week of January 9th. Our club day is Thursday but you can choose another day, Monday through Thursday, when you purchase you pass. Lessons are offered at 1pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm for all levels. 1st time skier/boarder lessons are also offered at 4pm and 5pm in addition to the other times. You are asked to stay with the same time and instructor that you start with. New this year is a special lesson group for children ages 4-6 and 7-12. These class sizes are small so signup early before they fill up.
Rentals
You can add rental equipment to any pass for $125 except the 4 week lesson program which is only $46. The rental add-on allows you to use either skis or snowboard and you can even switch between the two the same day. With this rental add-on you get boots, skis and poles or snowboard. They also offer a helmet rental add-on of $25 for the 4 week lesson program or $30 for all other passes.
